Although we're fortunate to live in a low crime area, we would like to remind residents of a few simple steps that can help prevent opportunist crime.

🚗Theft from motor vehicles - Lock your car and remove valuables from view, even if you're only leaving it for a short time.

🚙Theft of motor vehicles - Keep your car safe keys secure and away from doors and windows, and consider additional security such as steering wheel lock.

🏠Burglary - Remember to lock doors and windows when you go out, keep keys and valuables out of sight, and consider using a faraday box (for car keys), security lighting or video doorbell.

A few simple precautions can make a big difference. Lets continue looking out for ourselves and our neighbours.
